Well I am glad I thought to research this before buying my new pc considering I was going to add Microsoft word and excel 2019!  In my opinion Quickbooks and Microsoft are trying to force every one of their users to monthly/yearly subscriptions in the cloud. I do not believe that either Intuit or Microsoft are working on any fixes or updates. It is all about profit not customer service, there are absolutely higher profit margins to be made on subscription services.  All companies need to make enough profit to succeed but customer service is also a huge factor in surviving.  I would be interested to read about any other options out there to replace Intuit QB if anyone has suggestions.
