Tracking milage on a personal vehicle for doing business activities is a must-have on any small-business accounting software. When I'm traveling to pick up parts at my vendors, I can deduct the mileage; that is different than charging people for the miles I drove. If Quickbooks self-employed already has milage tracking software embedded, I imagine it's possible to add it to Quickbooks Simple Start. Because Simple Start doesn't offer milage tracking on a personal vehicle for business purposes, I'll continue using my free version of Quickbooks Self-Employed software until the milage tracking feature is available on QB Simple Start.
