If you're still unable to sort the quick report by amount, you can try exporting it to Excel and customize it from there as a workaround. This can be done by clicking the Export icon and selecting Export to Excel.

That should you back on the right track. I'm also going to send feedback to our Product Developers so they can take a look at this and fix it for you.
