This is the same issue I am running into, it needs to be displayed in the report because I am categorizing it as a "Sale" and by a "Customer". This is definitely a tripping point for a lot of people and my accountant just shook his head on quickbooks...a lot of features aren't working great (receipts, capturing data on charts, etc.). Quickbooks needs to figure this out soon and strive to be the best.....

Its only a matter of time for other programs to be more appealing, like Waveapp
