There are two possible reasons why you're not seeing the option to edit QuickBooks records and sync back, @bobbogino. Let me provide more details about this.

 

It's noteworthy that the option you're trying to access is available only for QuickBooks Online (QBO) Advanced or Accountant versions, and is only accessible to users with admin-level access. You may consider upgrading to QBO Advanced/Accountant or reaching out to your account administrator for admin privileges, if needed.

 

After completing the necessary step, access Spreadsheet Sync through QuickBooks or from the navigation ribbon in Excel, since you've already downloaded the application. Refer to the screenshot below to access the Edit QuickBooks record and sync back.
