Buy nowI had the same. What I’ve ended up doing is either batching: enter customers and time, then circle back later in the day to build invoices when I know the data has caught up, or forcing a refresh by removing and re-adding the time/expense to the invoice if it didn’t carry through. It’s clunky, but it avoids missing line items.
A couple of folks I know offload the invoicing step to a simple integration tool, even the free tiers of some apps can sync time/expenses straight into invoices faster than QBO does natively. That way, you don’t sit around waiting for their servers.
Curious if anyone here has found a real instant workaround inside QBO itself, but I haven’t seen one yet.
