I had the same problem with the Amazon app in QuickBooks. I set my default categories, but some transactions just didn’t follow them. It felt like QuickBooks was using its own logic behind the scenes and randomly choosing categories I never set. It made things really confusing, and I kept having to go back and fix everything.

 

That’s when I switched to Synder, and it solved the issue right away. With Synder, I can set the categories exactly how I want, and every Amazon transaction follows those settings consistently. There’s no guessing or unexpected changes. I know where each type of income, fee, or refund is going, and everything lands in the right place in QuickBooks.

 

If the automatic logic in the Amazon app is getting in your way, I’d really recommend trying out Synder. It gives you full control and keeps everything accurate and organized. It’s been a huge help for me.
