Each user in a QuickBooks Online (QBO) company has their own Intuit account linked to a phone number. This is the number they enter in their account and will be used to verify their identity when they log in to any QBO company they are part of.  Therefore, all your coworker needs to do is add their phone number to their Intuit account.

 

To add a phone number to the Intuit account:

 

  1. Go to the Intuit account sign-in page and sign in.
  2. Click Sign in & security.
  3. Select on 2-step verification.
  4. In the Verification methods section, choose Set up for the Phone number, and follow the onscreen process to finish the setup.

 

About adding another phone number for the bill payment schedule using Bill Pay, that option is not available. Only the primary admin's phone number can be added.

 

You can also check about adding and managing users in QuickBooks to customize each role and give individual permissions for specific tasks.
