Chiming in here to stay updated.  I have also sent a suggestion that they need additional pages on the template.  Not only when the first page of the invoice has been filled.  As for a contractor we need to attach a Right to Lien to the actual invoice.  There should be a way to create an invoice in QB desktop where you have the layout for the invoice but then when sending it out the Right to Lein is already attached with our company name and customers information.
