Still having the EXACT same problem in 2025, I made a perfect and very handsome invoice in word using the QB Template EZ Map Guidelines, it looks great when I preview it right after importing, but when put in use with an actual invoice, ALL THE <servicedate> FIELDS ARE BLANK! 

I sell only services, and they MUST have a date attached, it is SIX YEARS LATER, and this bug is still an issue. "Modern" invoices are a travesty, so it really needs to be fixed NOW. Sure Intuit are good at increasing the monthly fees and ACH fees half a dozen times in five years, but not fixing a simple bug in the same time....
