At the end of 2024, we updated QuickBooks Online by replacing the classic report view with a new Modern View which you can already access in many existing reports, and the option to add the Tax ID in the vendors contact list is now unavailable.

We want you to know that removing the Classic View is not about making reports look better in QBO. It's because we are shutting down our old reporting system and moving to a new one. Rest assured that the new system is designed to provide features and be reliable.

In the meantime, you must manually enter the Tax ID in your report after exporting the vendors contact list.

Moreover, you can also customize reports in QuickBooks Online, it can help you filter to show specific accounts or customers.
