I am a consultant that gets paid via T&M against a pre-determined Purchase Order, and am sad to see that there is still not valid solution - or lack of understanding the question.  Does Intuit hire accountants to help translate the problem to the background technical people?  I feel this would assist Intuit developers a lot if they had an in-house accountant to help explain the scenario.
