We appreciate your patience and efforts in addressing your concern, John. I'm here to clarify a few details on my end and provide a possible resolution.

You're correct, changing the category of your reconciled transactions will not affect their reconciliation status. However, transactions may appear in the Reconciliation Discrepancy Report if they impact or alter the opening balance.

Since you've reclassified the transactions, it’s possible that you changed the account type, such as switching from an expense account to an asset account. The appearance of these transactions in the Reconciliation Discrepancy Report provides a solid starting point for addressing the issue. Each transaction has implications for the opening balance, so I recommend reviewing them closely to identify and resolve any discrepancies.
