We're glad to have you here in the Community forum, Gloria. Let's fix the date format on your printed invoices.

Usually, QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) uses the same date format as your computer. Since you've already verified your device's date format, we can run some tests to see if there's an issue with your QuickBooks program or the company file. Before doing so, make sure that:

  • You update QuickBooks to the latest release.
  • You have the latest printer driver installed.
  • There are no error messages or warning lights on your printer.

Next, test your company file by printing a different form. If you're printing a customized invoice, print a standard one. Consider using another QuickBooks sample company file to print the same invoice. If it works, fix the data damage on your company file.

Otherwise, scan Solution 4 on this article to manually rename the QBPrint.QBP file: Fix printing issues in QuickBooks Desktop. You can also print your invoices to a different printer to see if this issue is printer-related.

Furthermore, contact our Live Support Team if the issue persists after following the above steps. They can also investigate further to provide a resolution. Please check our operating hours to ensure a prompt response.

Finally, here's an article on personalizing your sales forms to include essential information about your business: Use and customize form templates.

Having accurate and up-to-date financial information is essential in running your business. Leave us a comment below if you still encounter issues printing invoices. We're always here to help you out.
