This is super helpful! In order for a deposit to be able to show up in a class-filtered report, it needs to be entered in as a journal entry. I can fix that. 

What about Bill Payments? If I set-up a bill to have a class, the bill shows up in the class-filtered balance sheet report under the appropriate budget or liability line. However, when I pay the bill, the bill payment, even if given a class, does not show up on the class-filtered balance sheet. If I want a bill / bill payment to show up as class-related, do I need to change these to journal entries too? ... That seems to make the whole accounting process more complicated than it should be given the general simplicity of QBO.
