Thus, tracking bank deposits using specific details like reference numbers added in the Add funds to this deposit section isn't possible. You'll need to manually search the transaction and access it to review information on your recordings.
As a workaround, you can consider generating the Deposit Detail report and filter it to show the data that you need for your business. We'll outline the steps to get you going:
- Access your QuickBooks Online company.
- On the left navigational bar, click the Reports tab.
- In the Search bar, enter Deposit Detail. Click on the result.
- Select or add a specific reporting period. Edit the filters to tailor it to your business needs.
