Hiding the products and services allows you to have control in personalizing your sales transactions, SW16. I'm here to provide ways to achieve this in the new interface.

We have two ways to hide the products and services in the PDF form of your estimates and quotes QuickBooks Online. We can use the Modern template or customize another invoice or quote form.

Follow these steps if you want to use the Modern template:

  1. Go to Sales and then select All sales.
  2. Locate the quotes or estimates you don't want your customer to see the items.
  3. Select Manage.
  4. A window pop-up will show. Click Design.
  5. Choose Modern under the Modernized template section.
  6. After that, scroll up to select the Customization drop-down.
  7. Disable the Product/Service button from the Table content.

Aside from using the Modern template, you can also personalize and utilize the other sales forms. Please follow these steps:

  1. Click the Gear icon at the top right corner of the screen.
  2. Select Custom form styles.
  3. Press the New style drop-down and then pick Invoice.
  4. Go to the Content tab.
  5. Select the middle part.
  6. Uncheck the Products/Service box.
  7. Hit Done.
  8. Repeat the steps to create an estimate Template (select Estimate in the drop-down menu).

Once done, let's use the template in your transaction:

  1. Open an entry.
  2. Click Manage, then scroll down to Design.
  3. Select the template you've created.
  4. Once done, click Print and download to view the PDF form without the items.

Additionally, you can record an invoice payment once your customer pays their outstanding invoice. Doing so ensures you'll have accurate sales data in the system.

I'm still here if you have more queries about invoice columns, notes, or other transactions and data. Just comment below, and rest assured I'll get back to you promptly.
