Thanks for chiming in on this thread, userid6969. I've got the details about the old invoicing layout in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

On May 6th, 2024, Intuit updated the invoicing layout based on customer feedback to enhance efficiency and meet business needs. This new design simplifies job acquisition and payment processes. As a result, the option to revert to the old layout is unavailable.

However, you can change the page margins of your invoice layout by utilizing the Custom form styles option. I'll outline the steps below.

Here's how:

  1. From the Gear icon, select Custom form styles.
  2. Click on the New style option and choose Invoice.
  3. Access the Design and Content tabs to customize your form.
  4. Click Done.

Moreover, you have the option to make your invoice template default by following these steps:

  1. Go back to the Gear icon.
  2. Click Custom form styles.
  3. Choose your template and hit the dropdown arrow beside the Edit option.
  4. Press Make default.

In addition, you can learn more about this feature and the newest product innovations from QuickBooks through these resources:

Finally, when your customer pays you, you can receive and track invoice payments to ensure your sales transactions are recorded accurately.

Proper invoice management helps you keep accurate records and improves cash flow. Please let us know if you require assistance with the new layout or have concerns using the program. We're just one post away.
