Regarding quickbooks 2024 Plus for Mac, is that another subscription?

What is the cost?

Is there anyone who can tell me how to purchase a QB like I have in the past for a one time fee under $400 that will be good for a few years?

I have been using QB for Mac 202 for 4 years.  I do not need any fancy features, but I do need to reference my old records going back 20 years.

My business is VERY SMALL!  No employees, and about 15 subcontractors and 50 - 75 customers per year

I absolutely cannot afford the smallest subscription of $900 per year.

The QB rep told me I could get a desktop version for $650, but the is good for just one year.  And the prices increase every year by about $100

And is this forum just Intuit people answering my questions or is there anyone who can help me with this ordeal?
