I recognize that a lot of users have the same need for an automation feature to rename exported files (invoices), PS1995. Let me provide an alternative method for modifying the file name of your invoices.
As previously stated by my colleague, you'll have to change the sales form name manually. I'm here to help and walk you through the process:
- Head to the Invoices menu on the left panel to view the list of your sales entries.
- Select the invoice you're working on from the list and click the drop-down arrow under the Action column to select Export as PDF.
- Go to your downloaded invoice and select Show in folder.
- Right-click beside the file and choose Rename.
- Enter the name you wish to use for the entry.
