This happened to me today, my existing Custom reports in their own Group now use Modern View. I can manipulate some columns but not get rid of the first, so I moved it to last. When I saved my new report it went into a new Group with the same name. That is, I had a duplicate report in a duplicate Group, and wound up having to delete both.

I really think updates should continue the functions and options that were there before, or explain why.
