I appreciate your time in joining us here and raising your concerns about online banking. I see that the manual entry process can be quite tedious. I'm here to provide some guidance on a more efficient approach.

Even if a bank account does not appear on the Banking page or is not directly connected to QuickBooks Online, you can still import downloaded transactions for that account.

The key is to set it up as a bank in your Chart of Accounts. This will allow you to select the main business account when mapping the data during the import process.

For step-by-step instructions on how to do it, use this article as a guide: Add An Account To Your Chart Of Accounts In QuickBooks Online.

Aside from that, you also need to make sure it follows the required file format so you can import it. To help guide you through this process, allow me to share these articles with you:

Since you're having some challenges finding the main business account, I suggest contacting our phone or chat support teams. They can thoroughly investigate the situation and determine why the account is not showing up.

Here's an article on how to reach out to them: QuickBooks Online Support.

I'd also like to share a couple more banking-related articles as additional resources when downloading transactions from your bank:
