Your steps in resolving the issue about exporting the Client Ready payroll report are commendable, @brogoitti. I'm here to help.

I can lay out options to resolve the Client Ready payroll report in QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) 2024 not exporting to your Excel.

Although QBDT 2024 can export other payroll reports to the 2013 Excel, I'd still encourage working with Excel versions 2016, 2019, 2021, and 2019 or the Microsoft 365 version that includes 64-bit. These versions work best with the software.

After this, I also recommend ensuring to enable macros for Microsoft Office. You can follow these steps:

  1. To enable macros, open any payroll report.
  2. Click Excel and select Create new worksheet.
  3. Click the link "Macros have been disabled." Then, select Enable Content.
  4. Select Advanced Options. Then, choose Trust all documents from this publisher.
  5.  Hit  OK.

If this is resolved and you need to set up scheduled reports in a regular and recurring time in the future, let me add this article as a reference: Set up and modify Scheduled Reports

Keep us posted if you have any updates on the problem with exporting the Client Ready payroll report to Excel in QBDT. We'll do our best to assist.
