QB online does not care about contractors and doesn't understand that there are also companies, like mine that do Buy-Resell and need to be able to add a markup per item since every item is different and there are few to none of the same item.  I'm presently on hold to keep my Premier Contractors Edition of Desktop and, hopefullly, update it ...   Meanwhile, this means I cannot use the bookkeeping service that I was hoping to since they cannot log into my QB from afar.  SUCKS!!!
