BLACK FRIDAY SALE 70% OFF QuickBooks for 3 months* Ends 11/30
Buy nowThings we can no longer do easily after this terrible horrible, awful update:
Search for an invoice by the name of the client in the invoice list
Search for an invoice by invoice number in the invoice list
Search for an invoice by dollar amount in the invoice list
I CAN BE LOOKING AT THE INVOICE ON THE SCREEN AND SEARCH FOR THE NUMBER THAT I AM ACTUALLY LOOKING AT AND IT WILL NOT PULL IT UP. (and yes, I have made sure that the filter is set on “all”)
We now have to go to the customer list, search for the customer, and then look at all of the invoices they’ve ever had and find the one we want.
How is that an improvement?
we cannot attach photos flawlessly anymore. About every third one gives an error. I will sometimes have to try five or six times just to get one photo to attach. It takes probably triple the amount of time to create an invoice now that it did prior to this update!
We can no longer add photos or notes or anything to an invoice once it has been paid.
Part of our job routine is to attach drop off photos when we deliver a product. We can no longer do that.
once an invoice has been paid, we can no longer even view the notes or open the attachments to look at photos if there’s a warranty issue or any other need. We have to email it to ourselves and open it as a link to view any of the info we had added to the info.
We used to be able to search all invoices for any line item/product/service that was on an invoice. That function has completely gone away. There is no ability For product and services.
example: if I want to look at every job that used product “ABC”, we used to be able to put “ABC” in the search bar and it would pull up every invoice with that part included on it.
The list goes on and on. I’ve spent countless hours online trying to find solutions to these issues, but I’m out.
I’m switching to a company, who hopefully cares a little bit more about what their users need.
