I see how essential it is for you to save the modified recurring invoice template, @mbpros. Allow me to route you in the right direction so you can achieve the task in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

 

Since the steps provided by my peer above don't work, I recommend contacting our Phone Support team for further investigation. They have all the necessary tools to safely look at your account and determine the root cause of the issue. You can connect with them using your QuickBooks account. Here's how:

 

  1. Click the Help icon in the top right-hand corner.
  2. Select Search, then Contact Us.

  3. Choose your topic or select "Ask about something else"  to enter your question in the box and hit Continue.
  4. Please choose the best way you'll want to reach out to us.

 

Our representatives can accommodate you Mondays to Fridays from 6 AM to 6 PM PT and Saturdays from 6 AM to 3 PM PT.
