I'd be happy to help you with saving your edited recurring invoice templates in QuickBooks Online, @mbpros.

To begin with, may I ask if you've received a specific error after saving your edited recurring invoice template? This way, we can give you the appropriate solution you need.

In the meantime, let's try some basic troubleshooting to determine if this is a browser-related issue. Sometimes, QuickBooks may encounter errors due to accumulated cache.

With this, we can try logging in to your QBO account using a private browser, as it ignores websites from using cookies and doesn’t record any history and data:

  • Safari: Control + Option + P
  • Google Chrome: Press Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Firefox or Internet Explorer: Ctrl + Shift + P

If this works, you might need to clear the browser's cache so the system can start fresh. If you get the same result, I recommend switching to a different supported browser.

Additionally, you can visit our QuickBooks Blog to find articles that can assist you with recurring invoices.

If you want to learn how to set up automatic payments for recurring invoices, refer to this article: Set up Autopay for recurring invoices in QuickBooks Online.

Please let me know if you require further assistance with your recurring invoice or any other QuickBooks-related issues. Stay safe.
