I doubt anyone at Intuit even knows what the issue is, or that their engineers are aware of it yet.

Someday, someone at Intuit might notify engineering and they'll try to figure it out. They might even fix it at some point, but that would require admitting a mistake and losing face, which is very hard to do in the Indian social system.
