Let me guide you on what report to run to view the build assembly numbers, @Roberta12.

In QuickBooks Desktop, you can run a Custom Transaction Detail Report and filter it accordingly to generate data by build assembly number. Here's how:

  1. Go to the Reports menu.
  2. Select Custom Reports. Choose Summary.
  3. From the Display tab, set the date range to the period you need. Click the Customize Report button.
  4. On the Display rows by drop-down, select Item detail. Under Display columns, select Quantity (select Amount if the dollar amount is required).
  5. On the Filters tab, remove the Account filter.
  • Add Transaction Type, then select Build Assembly filter.
  • Add Number, then enter the build number you want to review.
   6. Click the OK button.

In addition, you can memorize your reports if you want the same settings of the customized report to be available for future use.
