4 years after and still after all this feedback they didn't fix it?

Also how can someone split a single payment in to 2 different invoices in 2 different projects of the same client? I tried to select the parent client but the payment is not shown on each project even after selecting the invoices in each project.

What is wrong with QuickBooks and what is an alternate solution we can turn into? Anyone has a recommendation for another online software?
