I understand how crucial it is to keep your ideal configuration or settings, Dan. Let me assist you in achieving that.

Before anything else, I highly suggest checking your settings to ensure it was set properly.

Here's how:

  1. Click Gear Icon.
  2. Select Account and Settings.
  3. Go to Advanced.
  4. Click the Pencil Icon.
  5. Under Other Preferences, check the number format if the decimal is included or if is it under Dollar only.

If there are no changes to the settings, I suggest using a private window that doesn't temporarily store files. QuickBooks Online is sometimes poorly configured due to overloaded site data.

To open an incognito window, you can refer to these keyboard shortcuts:

  • Google Chrome: Press Crtl+Shift+P
  • Microsoft Edge & Mozilla Firefox: Crtl+Shift+N
  • Safari: Press Command+Shift+N

If you're still having the same result, I suggest utilizing other supported browsers. It will help us identify if the issue is specific to your current browser.

If your invoice rate finally shows the format, you want while using the incognito, I suggest returning to your usual browser and clearing its cache and cookies.

Moreover, I would like to share some articles with you that can assist you in managing your invoices:

In any case, if you have more questions, you can always reply on this thread or post a new one. We'll be here to answer your concerns. Have a great day ahead and take care always.
