In QuickBooks Desktop, you can see the deleted invoice by pulling up the Audit Trail report and customizing it according to your preferences. 

Here's how: 

1. Go to the Reports menu.
2. Choose Accountant & Taxes and select Audit Trail option. 
3. Press Customize Report. 
4. Click the Filters tab.
5. In the Search Filters, type Transaction and click the result in the Filter column. 
6. In the Transaction Type, press the dropdown and choose the Invoice option. 
7. Once you're done, click OK.
