Hi there, @dej.

I want to inform you about recent updates to QuickBooks Online that have impacted the availability of certain features, such as the Ship via, Shipping date, and Tracking no. fields. The decision to remove these features was made in order to improve the overall user experience and streamline the platform's functionality. While we recognize the importance of these fields, we are constantly evaluating and refining our product to ensure that it meets the evolving needs of our users.

We are actively working on potential solutions to address this change and are committed to providing alternative methods for managing shipping information within QuickBooks Online. In the meantime, I'd suggest adding custom fields to track these details in your invoices. Let me show you how:

  1. Open your new invoice.
  2. Click the Manage gear icon.
  3. Select the Customization drop-down list, then click Manage.
  4. Select Add field, then enter the name and the Data type.
  5. Choose a Category and Select forms.
  6. Click Save.

Moreover, you can send your suggestions about the new updates in QuickBooks. This way, our engineers can review your feedback and help improve your experience in QuickBooks.

For additional reference about the new layouts in QuickBooks Online, please see this article: See what’s new with estimates and invoices in QBO.

If you have any further questions or feedback regarding this update, please don't hesitate to reach out to us. Your input is invaluable to us as we continue to enhance QuickBooks Online.
