Hello, mbell19. I completely understand how frustrating it can be when a feature that used to work perfectly suddenly disappears and hinders your ability to complete tasks efficiently.

QuickBooks understands that businesses have unique needs, so we continuously enhance our software features to cater to those needs. Our team of experts is dedicated to monitoring market trends, listening to customer feedback, and researching to identify areas where we can improve our software. By doing so, we can provide our customers with the most valuable and innovative features that can help them streamline their business processes and increase their productivity. At QuickBooks, we believe in putting our customers first, and our commitment to enhancing our software is a testament to that belief.

To see whether the customer has already viewed the invoice, navigate to the invoices tab and click on the transaction to view its status. This will give you an idea of whether the customer has received and viewed the invoice.

To check the status of your invoices, here's how:

  1. Click Sales and select Invoices.
  2. Choose the transaction and click the status.
  3. An invoice activity will pop up.

However, if the issue persists, open your QBO using a private browser or incognito. It could have something to do with temporary internet files, which may cause an inability to see whether the customer has viewed the invoice. Browsing applications store these types of records, but sometimes, they can cause issues with certain web pages.

Use these keyboard shortcuts to start an incognito or private browsing session:

  • Ctrl + Shift + N for Google Chrome
  • Ctrl + Shift + P for Firefox
  • Control + Option +P if you're using Safari
  • Ctrl + Shift + P for Microsoft Edge

Once done, log back in, navigate to your invoice, and verify if the rate and quantity appear when printing the invoice. Return to the regular browsing session and delete your temporary internet files if they show up. Here's an article as a guide: Clear Cache And Cookies To Fix Issues Using QuickBooks Online. Or you can use a different browser for a better browser experience.

I've added these articles to learn more about how to personalize and add specific info to your sales forms:

Please let me know if you have any other questions about invoices or other QBO products. I'm always here to help. Have a great day!
