Hello there, @dee n. I understand how important this feature could be for your needs

Please know that the order acknowledgement feature is still unavailable in QuickBooks Online. As a workaround, you can create a custom template for your old or new estimate layout. I'm here to assist you with the process.

To create a new template:

  1. Go to the Gear icon, then select Custom form styles
  2. Click New style, then choose Estimate.
  3. Hover to the Content tab and click the upper section.
  4. Scroll down and enter Order Acknowledgement in the Form names section.
  5. Go to the Emails tab, then type Order Acknowledgement/Estimate in the Subject section.
  6. Hit Done.

Now, let's rename the template:

  1. From the Custom form styles page, locate the estimate you've made the changes to.
  2. Click the dropdown beside Edit, then select Rename
  3. Type in the new name and click OK.

To create an estimate using the new template:

  1. Go to +New, then select Estimate
  2. Complete all necessary details.
  3. Once done, click Manage
  4. Select Design and tick Order Acknowledgment
  5. Click Save.

Moreover, you can duplicate your estimates and invoices in QuickBooks. This feature will save you time by eliminating the need to enter the same information twice.

You're always welcome to reach out again if you need further clarification regarding estimates or other QuickBooks features. Just type in your response by tapping the reply button below.
