I understand the importance of viewing your customer's invoice status. Rest assured, you can still see whether your customer has viewed it. Recently, QuickBooks Online changed the location of the invoice status history. Let me guide you on how to view the status of an invoice. When opening an invoice, the status will display in a new window.

 

Here's how:

 

  1. On the left menu, select Sales and go to Invoices.
  2. Click any invoice transaction you want to view, and you can see it under Invoice Activity on the new pop-up window.

 

 

Also, you can learn how to record the invoice payment and deposit it into the correct account after receiving it.
