When selecting a transaction to be cleared, all transactions can be deleted except for the Credit Memo. To further understand your scenario, I'd like to know what transactions you're trying to delete.
Nevertheless, let me guide you to a possible workaround. You can use the Batch action function to delete transactions. Here's how:
- Go to the Sales menu, then select the All Sales tab.
- Make sure the transactions you want to remove are checked.
- Hit the Batch Actions button.
- Click Delete.
