When you purchase or subscribe to QuickBooks Desktop, it will be accessible to at least one user. Although, depending on the specific version you choose, you have the option to add additional users. After performing your task, you can import your QuickBooks Desktop company file to QuickBooks Online.
From there, you can invite your accountant and other users to assist with managing your account.
Here's a step-by-step guide on how to invite your accountant:
- Sign in to QuickBooks Online as a primary admin.
- Go to Settings ⚙, then select Manage users.
- Click the Accountants or Accounting firms tab.
- Enter your accountant’s email address and select Invite.
If you track sales tax, set up location-based sales tax in QuickBooks Online.
