I'm here to clarify a few things about how capturing signatures works in the QuickBooks Online (QBO) mobile app.

 

You can follow the steps my peer, Ethel_A, shared above if you have the old invoice interface in your QBO account.

 

However, if you have a new invoice experience layout, getting a signature on your invoice using the QBO mobile app is unavailable. In the meantime, I suggest utilizing a third-party app that allows you to get signatures on your invoices.

 

While this feature is not possible, I recommend sending your feedback to our Product Development Team so they can review it and consider implementing it in the future. Here's how you can submit feature requests using your QBO mobile app:

 

  1. Click the Menu button.
  2. Select the Gear icon.
  3. Scroll down, and then choose Feedback under the Help section.
  4. Enter your feedback and product suggestions.
  5. Tap Send Feedback.

 

Additionally, check out this article to personalize your invoices and change things like your logo and default message using your QBO mobile app: Customize invoices on the QuickBooks Online mobile app. Otherwise, utilize QBO on the web instead if you need to customize other sales forms.
