I appreciate your efforts in resolving your banking concern in QuickBooks Desktop, Beth. I want to provide clarification on this.

Based on the screenshot you shared, it seems that the QuickBooks version (2020) you're currently using is discontinued and no longer supported. Consequently, all the online services within the Bank Feed section have been deactivated automatically. This is the reason why you're getting the error when changing the bank account. I suggest going to your Bank Feed Settings and manually disabling online services. I'll show you how:

  1. Open the Lists menu.
  2. Go to the Chart of Accounts.
  3. Locate and select the bank account you want to modify.
  4. Right-click and choose Edit account.
  5. Navigate to the Bank Feed Settings field.
  6. Tick the radio button that says Deactivate All Online Services.
  7. Once done, click on Save & Close.

Once you've completed that step, you can then proceed to modify the name on your bank account, and you'll be all set.
