While we appreciate the reply, we need to continue to address the issues at hand.  

 

In the reply we are being told "QuickBooks updates the option and view for a better and more convenient experience while using it. We are aiming to provide the best service while navigating the accounting system. "However, what we are ALL saying is that we do not like the Modern View and it is not a more convenient experience and it is not helping us navigate the accounting system.  It is costing all of us a lot of extra time and headache to review client books, in addition to increasing the time we have to bill our clients even though this issue is not their thoughts.  Having to No-Charge time for this is ridiculous and hurting the profits of our firms.

Next, we're told "We can also try to open another report if this new form appears to be a different report you pull up." - Why do we need to open another report when we know what reports we routinely use and have no need to try to find other reports as a "work around" - again, this is costing us more time and this suggestion is not useful and does not address the issue of the Classic View not being available as the default.  

 

The last piece that's given to us is "If it shows the same, I suggest sending our developer feedback. This way, they can consider bringing back the old form in the reports section. . . Furthermore, our Product Development team receives your thoughtful comments (QBO) through the feature request tracking QuickBooks Online Feature Requests website."  There is no way to know using the gears and submitting feedback if our feedback is going to the right individuals.  Secondly, the QBO Feature Requests website does not have any feedback for this view issue that we can add comments to.  When I go to submit NEW feedback, it takes me to the Mobile QB feedback and not QBO.  Thus, the link included is not useful and still leaves us with no way to ensure our voices are being heard.

 

My suggestion to everyone is to attend the next QBO Updates webinar and ask about this issue LIVE so we can maybe get this issue raised in a manner that may get some attention.
