I know a way how you can rename the invoice exported as a pdf from QuickBooks Self-Employed.
When you export an invoice as a PDF in QuickBooks, the system generates the file name pdf by default. We currently don't have the option to name the file during the export process. You can, however, rename it once it has been saved on your computer. I'll show you how to do it on a Google Chrome browser.
Here's how:
- Go to your QuickBooks Self-Employed account.
- Export the invoice as PDF.
- At the bottom part of the browser, it will show the downloaded pdf file. Click the arrow up and then choose Show in folder. This will open the file's location.
- Right-click the file then select Rename.
- Put your desired file name, then hit Enter.
