The success of your migration depends on how complex your company file is. You can transfer much of the information from your company file without having to re-enter it manually. In general, the customer/vendor/employee names will definitely show once it is moved to QuickBooks Online (QBO).
On the other hand, information that will convert, with changes may be handled differently in QuickBooks Online than it was in QuickBooks Desktop and may need some adjustment after migration.
However, data that won’t convert won’t be automatically transferred with your company file and will need to be manually re-added after migration.
