Don't worry, I'm here to help you with the process of applying credits to an old invoice for QuickBooks Desktop for Mac. Here's how: 

 

  1. Go to Customers.
  2. Choose Receive Payments.
  3. Select the customer on the Customer: Job ▼ dropdown.
  4. Click on the Apply Existing Credits. Checkbox.
  5. Press Save.
