To begin, upgrade QBDT to the most recent release to ensure you always have the most recent features and updates.

 

To do that, here's how:

 

  1. Close your QBDT.
  2. Right-click on the QuickBooks icon and select Run as administrator.
  3. Once opened, go to Help and select Update QuickBooks Desktop.
  4. Click Update Now and then Get Updates.
  5. Once finished, close and reopen QBDT.
  6. Select Yes to confirm the installation and follow the on-screen instructions.
