I appreciate you joining this thread and sharing insights about attaching the Outlook email in QuickBooks Online (QBO). As a workaround, you can convert the file format .msg to one of a support type by utilizing an online file converter. Once done, you're now ready to attach it to a transaction form in your QBO company. For the detailed steps, read this link: Add or delete attachments in QuickBooks Online.
While we don't have the exact time frame when this will be available, I recommend sending feedback to our product engineers. This way, you can directly relay to them your suggestions and request about adding additional file types for attachments in your QBO forms.
