I'll clarify your concern with the Quotes or Estimates in QuickBooks Online, Charles. 

 

Thanks for your interest in having the Quote or Estimate feature in QuickBooks Online. The article you've provided is for the Australian version of QBO. That's why you see a Quote from the steps given. 

 

Since you're currently using the QBO US version, you'll see the Estimate feature. Thus, these two functions the same way. 

 

Otherwise, you might consider personalizing your estimate and changing the form name. I'll show you how: 

 

  1. Go to the Gear icon ⚙ and then select Custom form styles.
  2. Click the New style dropdown and choose Estimate.

  3. From the Content section, tick the header section. 
  4. Go to From names and modify it to Quote
  5. Tap Done to save. 

 

Once done, you can select the dropdown ▼ in the Action column and click Make default

 

When printing the form, you'll now be able to see the changes.
