I can see how challenging this has been.

Don't worry. Let's perform some basic troubleshooting steps so you can view the Profit and Loss report seamlessly in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

Occasionally, too much cache buildup in a browser can cause unexpected behavior with the product. To clean this up, you can open your account in a private window. Please utilize these keyboard shortcuts:

  • For Google Chrome browser: Ctrl + Shift + N
  • For Mozilla Firefox browser: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • For Safari browser: Command + Shift + N

If you can access the Profit and Loss report without encountering any bugs, you can clear the browser's cache or switch to a different supported browser. It could be a short-term issue with QBO or the window you're using.

Currently, the modern view in reports is still an ongoing effort. That said, we're unable to switch back to the classic view at the moment.

Additionally, there are numerous ways to customize your reports. You can filter them to display specific accounts or customers or format the layout so that the correct data appears in the appropriate place.

Please use the Reply button below if you need further help to access reports in QBO. I'm here with you to ensure you'll get the assistance you need. Keep safe!
