We can set up a clearing account and journal entry to move the deposit. I'm here to guide you through the steps.
To start with, we'll have to exclude the deposit. Here's how:
- From the Banking tab, select Banking.
- Go to the For review tab.
- Select the deposit.
- Click Exclude.
Afterward, let's add a clearing account. From there, you'll have to create a journal entry and select the clearing account. To ensure your transactions match your bank and credit card statements, you can reconcile them.
