Hi there, DPeronteau . Thanks for joining the thread.

I know how important it is to run the Transaction Detail report that shows a class in QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT). Have you tried doing some basic troubleshooting? If not yet, then I'd recommend using the Verify Data feature to see if anything needs to be rebuilt since your classes for income transactions aren't showing up.

Here's how:

  1. Choose Window, then Close All.
  2. In your top menu bar, go to File.
  3. Click Utilities.
  4. Select Verify Data.

For more information about the process, check out this article: Verify and Rebuild Data in QuickBooks Desktop.

In the meantime, you can export your reports out of QuickBooks to edit your data and add the class field. I've attached an article that details the process: Export reports as Excel workbooks in QuickBooks Desktop.

Everything you need to about how class tracking works in QBDT can be found in the following articles:

Don't hesitate to leave a reply if there's anything I can help you with when managing reports. Have a great day ahead.
